Job Title: Administrator, Group Sales
Position Notes:
- CONTRACT
- SCHEDULE - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 8 HOUR SHIFTS MUST BE AVAILABLE 8:00AM- 4:30PM.
- ONSITE PANEL INTERVIEWS AT THE 4101 PERCIVAL RD.
- TRAINING WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 8 WEEKS.
- ONSITE POSITION.
- THE CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL.
Duties:
- Serves as liaison to customers, agents, agencies, group leaders, marketing, underwriting, and operations to ensure appropriate documentation is received for accurate and timely processing.
- Verifies all group submissions are in compliance with BCBS underwriting rules and regulations.
- 50% Reviews all forms/documents for completeness. Contacts agents/groups for needed information. Verifies coverage benefits. Keys group and member information into enrollment system.
- 20% Performs initial underwriting review using medical rater program. Requests necessary medical records. Submits packages to underwriting. Runs alternate proposals through Accel-a-rate proposal system.
- 15% Reviews rating for workers' compensation and out of state employees. Retrieves claims history information. Acquires necessary approval from Companion Life.
- 15% Handles inquiries from agents, group leaders, and customers. Works closely with agents, agencies, and sales representatives to determine if additional training is necessary based on quality of groups submitted.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Required Education: Associate degree OR 2 years of related work experience.
- Required Work Experience: 2 years small group marketing, membership, underwriting, and/or customer service.
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Good judgment skills.
- Effective customer service and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
- Analytical or critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
- Work Environment: Typical office environment.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree- Marketing, Business Administration, communications, or related field.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $16.50/hour - $16.50/hour. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
