Job Title: Operator, Service I

Position Details:

• Standard work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
• Role is 100% Onsite at I-20 @ Alpine Road; Columbia, SC 29219.
• Client will provide 1.5 weeks of training -You will have access to resources to better understand the business.
• Interview Process: 2 rounds - 1st round is MS Teams video & 2nd round is in person.
• Team Name: Corporate Switchboard
• 11-Month Contract.

Duties:

• Receives and processes incoming switchboard calls.
• 80% Answers and transfers incoming internal and external calls.
• 10% Responsible for maintaining departmental reports.
• 5% Assists department with mailings.
• 5% Trains new employees.
• Triage - routing callers to correct area.
• You will manager 60 to 80 calls/day (2 - 3 minutes call length)

Required Skills and Abilities:  

• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Organizational skills.  
• Good judgment and customer service skills. 
•  Strong listening skills.  
• Good verbal and written communication proficiency.  
• Proficient grammar skills.  
• Ability to navigate through the Windows operating system environment.  
• Must have good typing and talking skills.  
• Ability to multi-task.  
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Required Software and Other Tools:  Microsoft Office.  
• Familiarity with computer console and directory.
• Work Environment:  Typical office environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Preferred Work Experience: 1 year of switchboard experience. 
• Preferred Software and Other Tools:  Working knowledge of switchboard equipment.

Pay Transparency:

• This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $11.52/hour - $15.36/hour W-2.
